DocuSign eSignature

DocuSign eSignature is the university’s electronic signature solution for its legally binding agreements, contracts, and standard VCU business forms. All VCU DocuSign use is for VCU business use only

DocuSign is not a long-term storage solution. Please familiarize yourself with the DOCUMENTS TO BE REMOVED (envelope purge) process. 

Versions

VCU has two versions of DocuSign available for use: Standard and Part 11

Part 11

The Part 11 site is to be used only for studies that need to comply with federal regulations.

Standard

The Standard site is for general university use.  All VCU policies apply to DocuSign system use.  Additionally, please note that the storage, processing, and transmission of the following are prohibited:

Training

All DocuSign training is provided through free Docusign University instructor-led webinars and self-paced courses. Please review the VCU DocuSign Training Roadmap and complete all DocuSign University training--in the order presented--prior to using DocuSign in a live business process.
