Google Apps in Canvas
The Google Assignments learning tool interoperability (LTI) allows VCU students, faculty, and staff to share and collaborate on Google files within Canvas. Save time grading and guide students to turn in their best work with originality reports. Distribute personalized Google Drive templates and worksheets to students, spot missed citations and possible plagiarism with originality reports, and save time grading while providing rich feedback all through the collaborative power of Google Workspace for Education.
The Drive LTI allows VCU faculty to easily link and share files and folders in Google Drive to all of the students in their class, removing the need to share with each individual student or sharing with everyone via the link.
Collaborations in Canvas make it quick and easy to get started collaborating on a new Google Drive file, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Drawings, and then share those files with others in the course.
